ALTERNATIVE THERAPY TYPES
Acupuncture - stimulates the nervous system and prompts the release of body chemicals, including endorphins, which ease pain, improve circulation and relax muscle spasms.
Chiro - The main goal is to restore full motion in the joints, prevent further damage and make your horse feel better.
Rolfing - involves manual manipulation of soft tissue in an attempt to realign structures that are tied up due to injury.
Herbalists - herbs are used as "supportive" formulas that can be helpful for chronic problems
Homeopathy - the concept of homeopathy is "like treats like" a substance that in concentrated form causes a problem can, in diluted form, trigger the body to heal that problem.
Bowen Therapy - utilises subtle inputs at specific locations (on muscles, tendons, ligaments, or nerves (known as moves), stimulating the body to heal itself.
